Seonjeongneung is the name given to two royal tombs, Seolleung and Jeongneung and is the burial grounds of two Joseon Dynasty kings and one Joseon queen.
As precious cultural heritage sites in Korea, these two royal tombs have been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list and are located in Samsung-dong in Seoul.
Also, Seonjeongneung is a harmonious place of unique architectural styles and beautiful natural surroundings, and the rites of 600 years ago have continued on until now.
Here’s one thing you have to pay particular attention when you walk through Seonjeongneung. There’s a T-shaped building in front of a royal tomb, called Jeong ja Gak.
To get to Jeong Ja Gak, you need to pass by a stone path which is called Sinlo however, tourists try to not to walk over the path because Sinlo as a holy road, only souls are allowed to walk through on it.
