Yeson Voice Center
The Yeson Voice Center is the first voice management and surgery center in Korea established for the purpose of providing systematic and professional vocal training to vocalists, singers, voice actors, news anchors and actors while also restoring the voices of patients who are vocally impaired. The Center is equipped with state- of-the-art diagnosis and treatment instruments and is the only place that offers a wide-range of voice management programs. To provide customized medical services to foreign patients, medical coordinators who speak English, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Russian and Spanish are stationed at the center.
Voice Feminization Surgery
‘Voice Folds Shortening and Retrodisplacement of Anterior Commissure’ is a surgery developed by the Yeson Voice Center where the vocal cord is feminized via endoscope without incising the skin for the first time in the world.
Transcutaneous EMG-guided Injection Laryngoplasty
Surgery conducted through a simple injection in the neck through electromyogram without local anesthesia or incision of the skin. It was introduced to domestic and international medical societies and received lots of positive feedback
Laryngeal Microscopic Surgery + PDL
A microsurgery that involves removing lumps inside the vocal cord using a delicate machine or laser after general anesthesia and insertion of a laryngoscope through the mouth. It can be used to preserve the vocal fold lamina propria layer while removing just the lesion in the epithelium.
Multichannel Phonokinetic Evaluation System
This is a state-of-the-art voice detection device that has been developed by the Yeson Vocal Center for the first time in the world in order to research the muscles, breathing and other sounds that are related to vocalization from multiple dimensions. One step ahead of evaluating vocalization patterns based on personal judgement, the device allows for an objective evaluation of muscle movement, breathing, and interactive reactions between different muscles to vocalists and applied music majors.
Number of Foreign Patient Operations
Patients from 50 countries have visited the Yeson Vocal Center thus far and received approximately a total of 10,100 operations.
