Q&A about brushing teeth!

We all know we have to brush our teeth but sometimes don’t you wonder if you are doing it right? Here are some questions about brushing teeth. Shall we explore together?
1. Should I brush my teeth right after I wake up or should I after eating breakfast?
It is correct to brush your teeth AFTER meal. It is alright to brush for those who opens their mouth while sleeping, feels unpleasant or smells. Also, if you brush right after you wake up you can remove plague (cause for cavity) that forms while you sleep. However, then you would have to brush your teeth twice so for more convenience we recommend using a mouthwash.
2. I brushed my teeth after dinner but ate ‘very little’ food before going to bed. Do I have to brush my teeth?
Of course! Even if you have ‘very little’ food, they get stuck in your teeth and make the germs breed and multiply in sleep. If you are just too tired and cannot brush for an inevitable reason, make sure there’s no food remaining in your mouth by gargling with mouthwash.
3. If I often brush my teeth, will not they get damaged?
If you brush too hard for the toothbrush to bend or brush only in one direction, then it can wear out your teeth. However, the frequency of brushing teeth doesn’t largely damage your teeth if you brush them correctly. Especially, just brushing side to side doesn’t remove food between your teeth and can also cause wear out of the teeth.

In conclusion? You have to brush your teeth after meal but must do it correctly! It is very obvious to say but not keeping the basics more than often leads to periodontal disease. We should all do the basics and keep our bright smile~
