Ahnkang Hospital was established in Seoul, Korea, in 2013 by Dr. Kang Ahn. The hospital specializes in the treatment of the muscular skeletal related pain. Dr. Ahn’s medical philosophy, as applied to pain treatment, is to avoid surgeries and the use of steroids. Instead, Dr. Ahn treats chronic pain with the stimulations to pain-causing receptors in human body through a technique which he developed. Dr. Ahn was highly successful first at the famous Cha University Hospital in Seoul, Korea, where he served as the Head of global pain management center. He then founded Ahnkang Hospital and served as the principal doctor. Ahnkang Hospital has enjoyed enormous success medically and financially. Pain related patients treated at the hospitals number more than 300,000.
